Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio Justice Projects
Through 10 years of phasing, Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio designed and oversaw the addition to, and historic renovation of, the original 1929 Jefferson County Courthouse (everything from operating systems overhaul to re-creation of original light fixtures and drinking fountains) all the while maintaining functional access to the entire complex. During this time, GA Studio also designed a new building for the County’s Domestic Relations Courts, and the renovation of the Birmingham Police Headquarters. |
