CHILDREN'S HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALTY CENTER SOUTH
Set into a steep, triangular site between a highway and a wooded residential neighborhood, this pediatric outpatient satellite was designed to meet the following dual challenges: to serve as a beacon to parents from the main road while remaining unobtrusive to its residential neighbors; and to efficiently house outpatient clinics and high-tech surgery suites while offering a playful and friendly atmosphere to soothe sick or injured children and their families.
