METALWORKS CONDOMINIUMS
Metalworks Condominiums was conceived by its owners to create a positive icon for Tuscaloosa, attracting new residents and serving as a catalyst to further downtown development.
Giattina Aycock Architecture Studio designed the project as of four discrete volumes: two building blocks of condominiums, a section of double-height units designed for living and working, and a connector which serves as the main entry with circulation and retail spaces. Together, the forms are juxtaposed and interlocked to form public street-side places and a private courtyard for residents.
